Application: Produces perfect fitting rail and stile doors from 3/4" stock.
Cabinet bit sets combine the most popular rail and stile bit sets with one Quadra-Cut raised panel bit. Freud's exclusive Quadra-Cut 4 cutter design provides the smoothest cuts possible. You'll get crisp, clean edges every time, even with cross-grain cuts in difficult materials.
All bits have 1/2" shanks and are designed to be used on 3/4" stock.
Includes attractive wooden storage box.
Cuts all composition materials, plywoods, hardwoods, and softwoods.
Caution - Safety Tip:
Intended for use in a router table only.
3-1/2" diameter raised panel bits included in set are not recommended for use with steel or aluminum router plates with 3-5/8" maximum openings, including the Rockler large aluminum router plates.

Be sure to watch the included video for a detailed set up instruction. The 97-204 set is for 3/4" panels and does leave the panel proud of the stile and rail heights. The best of the best as far as raised panel bit sets are concerned. The price for the bit set was average, but the free shipping made it worth it. If you are looking for flush panel heights you can plane down your panels to 5/8" or get the bit set with the second cutter to do flush mount panels. The Quad cut system makes glass smooth single pass cuts. Take in concideration that I am using a 3-1/2 HP Milwaukee table mounted router.
I highly recommend. I purchased this to do several panel door fronts for several built in cabinet. These worked like a dream.
